course NRS 301 Nursing Roles, Dimensions, and Perspectives
Facilitates the transition of Registered Nurses with an Associate degree in Nursing to the role of a BSN graduate. Introduces students to the philosophy, theory, and roles of the professional nurse in the context of contemporary and future professional nursing practice. Analysis of social, economic, and policy issues affecting the practice of professional nursing with emphasis on strategies for advancing the profession. Prerequisite: acceptance into the RN-BSN program.
