This is a survey course in the fundamental principles of management and organization. The course covers the various roles of the manager and the basic managerial functions. It also looks at the fundamentals of organizations from a "macro" (overall) perspective. The final project is a comprehensive analysis of a real organization (profit or non-profit). Class must be passed with a 2.0 or better to count for BAS-Applied Management degree. Prerequisite: meets the criteria for acceptance into a BAS/BSN program, completion of a two-year degree or equivalent, or instructor approval.
