This course provides the fundamentals of strategic planning and business strategy for practicing managers. Topics include the nature and importance of formal planning, strategy formulation and implementation. The final project is completion of a strategic plan for a real organization/business. Class must be passed with a 2.0 or better to count for BAS-Applied Management degree. Prerequisite: meets the criteria for acceptance into a BAS/BSN program, completion of a two-year degree or equivalent, or instructor approval.
