This course examines the major trends in human resources management, including problems and issues faced by organizations and individuals in times of change. Students learn the responsibilities of the human resources department and the roles that that every manager plays, both as a supervisor and as a client of the human resources department. Each student selects a class topic and plans how to apply that to a business/company project. Class must be passed with a 2.0 or better to count for BAS-Applied Management degree. Prerequisite: meets the criteria for acceptance into a BAS/BSN program, completion of a two-year degree or equivalent, or instructor approval.
