Description This class is the first in a series of three in which students learn the C++ programming language. C++ is an extension of C language, which includes both procedural and object-oriented programming. It is the basis for most PC-based windows programs. Students learn C++ keywords, control structures, functions, arrays, strings, and introduction to classes and objects. Prerequisite: MATH 094 or MATH 095 or MATH 098 or MATH 050 or MATH 070 or MATH 072 with a 2.0 or better or appropriate placement.
