Description This course builds on the theoretical concepts presented in NRS I, II, III, IV, and V. Learning experiences are directed toward increasing the student's knowledge of nursing care of individuals experiencing alterations in health. Emphasis is on application of the nursing process in the delivery of care to individuals experiencing complex health issues including reproductive, high risk maternal/newborn endocrine, and renal disorders and those requiring emergent care. Concepts of leadership and delegation are reinforced. Prerequisite: NRS 222 and 221/223 with a 2.0 or better.
